This one's exciting! Last week we enabled the genre drop-down. Over the weekend we've been able make many more shows searchable by genre.

It's possible you can filter shows that play Blues but when you tune in they're playing Jazz or Rock. This is because many shows play music from different genres.

But in general you should be able to find what you want to listen to in much fewer clicks than previously.

Give it a try and let us know what you think.

This works for stations that use Spinitron to keep track of their playlists.

You can click on most songs and hear a short example. Note that the times listed are the local times of the station. We're working on converting that to YOUR time.

The data you see is only as accurate as what their DJs enter in to the system.

We now host 300 Community and College stations for your listening pleasure.

If you can't find something you like, you're just not trying!

You can now filter shows by musical genre when searching for music to listen to.

It should be considered a 'beta' feature.

Use that 'Tag Show' button at the bottom of the page as you listen and we'll all see more search results!

A few new features

• Clicking on the radio station tile immediately plays the broadcast. No need to click on the player below.
• We've added a map to the each Station's page so you can get an idea where the music is coming from. Check out KKRN!
• We're also adding more station schedules. You can see that on KKRN above.

Want your radio station's program schedule available on this site? Now it's as easy as uploading a spreadsheet!

With program schedules in our system, listeners will be able to search by genre and find YOUR shows

• Who is playing the Blues now?
• Who is playing Hip-Hop now?
• How about Alternative?

To do this we need data. So reach out using the 'Feedback' link and we can help to get your station's schedule loaded!

We've been working behind-the-scenes on a big overhaul of the visual design of the website. Hope to launch that in the next week or so.
